Welcome to the Official Website of the upcoming game from Plantasy Studios...TWO LORDS. This website is designed to accomplish two main goals: to promote this production, and to find beta testers to test out and help us refine this game.



Two Lords is a first-person shooter (FPS) in the vein of classics such as Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, and Heretic. This has been one of the fastest growing genres of games in recent times due to the introduction of affordable dedicated 3D hardware some years ago. But before we had such hardware, FPS games were produced using software tricks, with perhaps the most popular being a technique known as "raycasting". Wolfenstein 3D and Rise Of The Triad both used raycasting techniques to effectively display their 3D worlds. Two Lords makes use of this technique as well.



An often overlooked feature in many FPS games is the storyline. Very often, the storyline is an afterthought; tacked on to keep the more intellectual players happy (Quake, for example...the ingame story was far different from what was depicted in the user manual, and neither were very interesting). Two Lords, on the other hand, is based around a story...a story of family, power, death, betrayal, and revenge. Great attention to detail is paid in the unfolding of the storyline.
